BestMassage EC-06C Massage Chair Review

The BestMassage EC-06C Massage Chair – Introduction

I was recently in the market for a budget massage chair and came across the BestMassage EC-06C chair. It offered everything I was looking for: multiple types of massage (shiatsu, kneading, chopping, tapping), rollers that travel the entire length of your back, the ability to recline to a zero gravity position, air bag massage, heat, and most importantly, a reasonable price tag.

But… I was still hesitant to pull the trigger. Surprisingly, I was able to find quite a few reviews online. I usually take product reviews with a grain of salt though, so they weren’t enough to make me feel comfortable making a massage chair purchase sight unseen.

The biggest problem: There isn’t much information on this chair out there besides the manufacturer’s specifications and features list (which was the same regardless of what site you’re on). I wanted to know more about the control panel. I wanted to know how much assembly is required. I wanted to know where it would fit. I wanted to know if it would fit through a certain door. I wanted to see pictures!

I did end up buying the chair from Amazon for about $1k shipped. I’ve been using it for 30 days and have almost zero complaints.

I created this blog to help other potential buyers make an informed decision.

Stay tuned for more details about the purchase, delivery, unboxing, assembly, and best of all, pictures!!!

  2. I bought this chair thanks to your site. Thanks for posting. Have you noticed there is an air balloon that goes right in the middle of your butt? It feels like it may have shifted and is not supposed to be there.

    • Jeff,

Yes, I’ve noticed that, and I’m not sure what to think about it. It’s definitely a weird place for an air bag and a weird sensation. If you take off the cushion you’ll see the air line going right into the middle of the cushion, so I think it’s supposed to be there. I usually just disable the thigh / butt air bags because they don’t do much for me. They might do more if you have wider hips or put a towel behind them for more pressure. Thanks for the comment.
